Especially kids who give a hard time in eating that murabba could get quite happy with this dish if they are pickle lovers! So, we bring forth easy, quick and super nutritious Amle Ka Achaar!

Cooking Time: 5 Minutes

Amla (Gooseberries)- ½ Kilogram

Salt- 1 ½ Tablespoon

Fennel Seeds (Saunf) (Powdered)- 1 Tablespoon

Fenugreek Powder (Methi Powder)- 1 Tablespoon

Red Chilli Powder 1 ½ Tablespoon

Turmeric Powder (Haldi)- 1 ½ Tablespoon

Nigella Seeds (Kalonji)- 1 Teaspoon

Black Salt- 1 Teaspoon

  1. Cut each Amla into pieces and remove the seed.
  2. Heat oil on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Put off the flame and add all the spices.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Now add the Amla pieces, mix well.

A friendly Tip: If you like your pickle spicy, you can easily add upto 2 Tablespoon of Red Chilli Powder instead of 1 ½ Tablespoon.

Your pickle is ready! You can eat it after 2 days so that the Amla pieces absorb all the flavours of the spices. If you would like to store the pickle for a longer duration like upto an year, cover your pickle well with a layer of mustard oil.
