Periods while travelling can be really hectic, even I need to know this!!

Three most important things to carry
1. Heating pad
2. Period underwear
3. Medications

And don't forget to carry your period product with you while travelling. 

I agree with sweety! even if you are nowhere near the date i would suggest to carry your product with you. Carrying a sanitizer is also important.

I find it easiest to use menstrual cups so even if I'm travelling there are no leaks and no rashes most of all!

Travelling is all about carrying essentials!
Agree with @swietyarora24, but in addition keep a packet of good old sanitary napkins handy as well.

1. Wear comfortable clothing: Choose loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that will not irritate your skin or cause discomfort during your period.

2. Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help to reduce bloating and cramping during your period.
