Hi friends,

Yesterday marked the beginning of yet another historic event- Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. India's flag bearer was Javelin thrower Tek Chand at the Opening Ceremony at Japan National Stadium. This time a total of 54 Indian para-athletes will participate across 9 sports disciplines.

Paralympics is even more special for everyone because the strength displayed by the athletes overcoming their disabilities and representing their country at such prestigious sports events, is something which can never be expressed in words. A huge salute to each one of them!

In India you can watch the games live on Eurosport channel, meanwhile we will keep you updated about the progress of all our amazing women para-athletes here.

A huge cheer for all these amazing athletes, they have already made us very proud!!
