Packing is an art in itself, a skill most of us still need to master! While packing may excite some, some may go through a hard time. Did I pack this? Did I miss anything? Questions like these are a part and parcel of the process. You may have a travel checklist but questions and doubts like these often arise! With all these doubts in mind, we often overpack or underpack and miss out on the must needs for travelling. Knowing all this, we have prepared a list of travel essentials for women so that you don't miss out on anything important!
Lets begin with the list of travel essentials for her:
Period necessities:
There is this one thing that enjoys our trips more than we do! Do you know what that is? Periods, an uninvited guest that joins us on our vacation regardless of anything! So, it would be wise to have your menstrual stock handy. Be it sanitary napkins, tampons or a menstrual cup, make sure to have them with you at all times!
Travel-sized skincare products:
This is one of the most essential things to pack when travelling! Every skin reacts differently when exposed to new climate conditions. So it becomes important to take care of your skin, especially while travelling. Carrying travel-sized products is a better idea than carrying the full-sized product as it will save you a lot of space!
Makeup kit:
Let’s face it! A makeup kit is something that we pack before anything else. Of course, who wouldn’t want to look good in every picture? Carry a makeup pouch with different compartments to carry all your products easily!
Sunscreen:
This needs a special mention! Vacations are all about spending time outdoors in the sun and let’s be honest, who goes for a vacation to spend time in a hotel room? So keeping sunscreen handy at all times is extremely important! If you are short on space, try packing moisture which already comes with an SPF in it!
Self-defence kit:
A self-defence kit is something that every woman should carry with them at all times! Pepper spray, safety alarm, anti-theft bags, whatever you find, throw it in the kit! These come in handy especially when you are travelling to a place prone to thefts.
Portable charger/power banks:
Our smartphone is something that never goes out of hands, lol! Be it capturing the most alluring views or banging your heads with the directions, a phone is never left alone! Carrying a power bank with you will never let your phone run out of battery.
Shoes:
Travelling is all about running here and there! Carrying at least 2 pairs of shoes is always a wise idea! You wouldn’t want to hurt your toes by making them walk in heels all day, right?
Clothes:
Time to take out all the outfits you have been saving for a good trip! What is travelling without wearing new clothes each day? You wouldn’t want to hit the beach in the same dress you wore at your date night, right!
A sturdy backpack:
Having a loyal backpack that holds all your valuables is a blessing! Carry a big backpack with small compartments to organise all your belongings without any hassle. Plus, it’s so much easier to have all the things you need in one place rather than carrying multiple handbags!
First-aid kit:
It is a great idea to carry a first aid kit with you to handle unforeseen emergencies. Your daily medicines, band-aids, cotton, an antiseptic solution are the basic items you should have in your first aid kit.
Dry shampoos:
Dry shampoos can be your best friend on no hair wash days! Why would someone want to travel around with sticky hair? These can be your best bet on days where you cannot wash your hair! The best part? You won't have to worry about your shampoo and conditioner bottles taking up your space!
Headphones:
Travelling without headphones? How does that feel? Anyone who travels knows the importance of earphones and should be on the top of your travel essentials list! Be it a short road trip or a long flight, one can rarely travel without headphones!
Sanitizers and masks:
The pandemic took over the world! Masks and sanitisers became an important part of our lives! Sanitisers can be your life saviour especially when you don't have direct access to water.
