Highlights Here I discuss about how womanhood can be a limitation in some areas currently, and how this limitation can be turned into limitlessness.

Day in and day out, I am dreaming of a solo world tour. But then mind always starts playing fear games - What if I get into danger?

And it's very natural of any girl to think this way, though guys don't have to think so much before venturing out of their homes. The 'danger for a man' versus 'danger for a woman' are very different. If you talk about 'danger for men' , the maximum danger they may possibly fall into is getting robbed of their money, wallet and bag or say getting trapped into a tourist scam. But if you talk about 'danger for women', the danger is a thousand times more than men. You can understand what I am talking of. And even the thought of "What will happen if I fall into such a situation while travelling?" can be quite traumatising. So most women like me quit the dream of solo travelling just with this one fearful thought in their minds.

What options do females have then if they want to travel? They have to either go with a male accomplice or have to book an expensive women's only tour with a travel company.

But can't there be a permanent solution so that no woman has to divert from her dreams. There is a solution. We women only want to do a 9-5 job, thus we have lesser representatives in fields like autorickshaw drivers, taxi drivers, guards, shopkeepers, entrepreneurs, bus drivers , train drivers, airplane pilots, truck drivers, as managers or staff in small or big hotels/restaurants/dhabas, etc. Also, we women want to work in daytime only. If we had a majority of women in these areas in urban as well as rural areas, in day-time as well as night-time then every woman would feel safe wherever she would go, because there would be lots of women around her every moment whether day or night. There has been a small starting step in this area in Mumbai, where you can see a small negligible number of female autorickshaw drivers on the streets. But this number needs to increase to a majority of workforce for us to achieve a feeling of safety for women. Also I feel that all women should be compulsarily taught Karate and other self-defence techniques from childhood. This should be a tradition for every female of every household of all religions.

These are my thoughts and feelings about how we women can always feel safe in this entire world. The thoughts and feelings of other women may differ. But we women should come together on a platform, discuss our opinions, form groups and take such plans a step forward if we truly want womanhood to be a symbol of limitlessness.
