Roasted and Toasted Nuts Mix for Fasts!

Making elaborate snacks for fasts may not be possible every time specially if you go to work and don’t have time to make something for office lunch. We got this perfect healthy yet tasty snack which you can munch on safely during your fasts. It will not only get rid of your hunger pangs but also keep you energized throughout the day. Navratri fast!
Cooking Time: 10-12 Minutes
Ingredients:
Cashew: ½ Cup
Almonds: ½ Cup
Raisins: ½ Cup
Makhanas: 1 Cup
Dry Coconut: 1 Tablespoon
Sendha Namak: ¼ Teaspoon
Black Pepper: ¼ Teaspoon
Powdered Sugar (Bura): 1 Teaspoon
Ghee: 1 Teaspoon
Recipe:
1. You can cut the cashew into half or use it whole and grate the coconut.
2. Heat a pan and add the ghee.
3. Add the almonds and cashews and roast them for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
4. Take them out in a bowl and add makhanas in the same pan and roast them for 4-5 minutes.
5. Mix them with cashew and almonds. Also, add the raisins, coconut, salt, black pepper and bura in the bowl.
6. Mix them well.
Your Masala Nuts Mix is ready. You can store it for a few days in an air tight canister!
A perfect healthy and filling snack suitable not only for your Navratri vrat but also for other days when you feel really hungry and don’t want to consume unhealthy junk food.
